Sense I am prone to skin cancer from too much sun exposure; I need a hat that covers as much area as possible. This hat has a rating of UPF 50+ and flat does the trick. It is light weight and has a wide brim that protects the neck and forehead. It also has a chin strap that is very convent. When you go to a restaurant or shopping you can just flip it off and it is held on your back without having to hand carry it. I've been wearing it for over six months had have not had any incidences if skin cancer on the covered areas. I highly recommend it.
This hat has lived up to my expectations - high quality, great sun protection, foldable, and good looking. Having lived in Africa for over nine years, I wish I had bought one years ago.
