I came across these when searching for a 'slouchy' beanie. I wasn't really seeing any under $20. So usually, when I find something so much cheaper than the average price, I don't really give it much consideration - in general, you get what you pay for. But I loved the many bright colors and read good reviews (on another posting) so I ordered a couple. Bright green and purple.
They aren't as slouchy as I'd hoped, but the description didn't say that they were. So it was my fault for assuming 'long beanie' was the same as 'slouchy beanie'. When I first tried them on they pretty much stuck straight out, haha. But I washed them in cold water and they loosened up a bit. The purple one shrunk 1.5" and the green didn't shrink at all. Now the purple one actually fits my small head a little better.
I live in Florida so I can't really say how well someone would stay warm in more northern areas, but the beanies are fairly thin. They'll keep me warm, but I get cold at temperatures lower than 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you are wanting a slouchy beanie you should probably look somewhere else. Otherwise, give it a try.. it's not like they're expensive. The shipping was timely, which is always appreciated. They are everything as promised and for that I can't complain.
Would I buy another one - nah. When I get the money I might buy a different one; one that is advertised as 'slouchy'. But I do like them a lot, they just weren't what I was expecting (my fault though).

It recently got very cold where I live and this hat does the trick at a very low cost. No complaints. It's held up to me shoving it in backpacks and coat pockets. The best part is I don't have to worry about leaving it somewhere, which, being the space cadet that I am, I tend to do. Since the hat is a cheap buy, it'll only set me back a couple of bucks. No guilt.
